About

Fabian’s doctoral research examined the political economy of artificial intelligence.

He holds a BA in Social Sciences from the Heinrich Heine University Duesseldorf, Germany, and an MSc in Politics and Communication from the London School of Economics.

His doctoral research at the OII was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the University of Oxford (Scatcherd European Scholarship).

Research Interests

Digital labour; gig economy; platforms; machine learning; infrastructures; power; qualitative methods.
