Dana Polatin-Reuben

Dana is a doctoral student at Oxford’s Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security.

Following a BA in International Affairs from the George Washington University in 2007, Dana completed a conversion MSc in Computer Science at the University of Bristol in early 2013, after which she was accepted to the pilot cohort of Oxford’s Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security in October 2013. Dana will now be undertaking her main research project with the Oxford Internet Institute. She is a married mother and expatriate American.

Research interests

pervasive monitoring, resisting surveillance, submarine cables, data sovereignty, BRICS countries, Internet governance, capacity building in developing countries
