The OxIS 2009 Report will be launched at the House of Commons with a large turnout of academics, regulators and industry people.
The OxIS 2009 Report will be launched at the House of Commons with a large turnout of academics, regulators and industry people. Proceedings will be opened by Derek Wyatt MP (Parliamentary Private Secretary to Lord Mark Malloch-Brown in the Foreign Office). Presentations on the significance of OxIS will be given by representatives from the sponsoring organisations: Adrian Arthur (British Library), James Thickett (Ofcom) and Mark Cowtan (Scottish and Southern Energy). Bill Dutton (OII) will present the key trends and themes in a talk on ‘The Internet and Society: A Tipping Point?’
