The company’s generous donation enables a high calibre student to pursue their goals in our doctoral program. Support from industry leaders such as PGP Corporation has been invaluable in keeping OII at the forefront of Internet-related research.”

“Oxford University is synonymous with excellence, so PGP Corporation is pleased to associate ourselves with this prestigious university,” said Phillip Dunkelberger, president and CEO of PGP Corporation. “The founders of PGP Corporation share a passion for education, and for helping to nurture the engineers, technologists, and business leaders of tomorrow. The relationship with Oxford, in many ways, demonstrates our commitment.”

The OII’s Doctoral (DPhil) Programme is offered to students wishing to undertake groundbreaking, detailed study of the Internet and its social impact. It aims to provide them with the qualities and transferable skills necessary to excel in teaching, research, policymaking, or business in their studied fields, including the ability to design new technologies, to predict and analyse their impacts, and help realise their potential across sectors of society.
