About the speakers
Chairman, Internet Watch Foundation
Roger Darlington works approximately one day a week as the independent Chair of the Internet Watch Foundation and approximately one day a week as the member for England on the Ofcom Consumer Panel. He also has a consultancy contract with the communications trade union Connect and acts as a support trainer for the training consultancy Lamont Associates. He obtained a First Class Honours Degree in Management Sciences from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. He then spent six years working for the Labour Party / Labour Government as a Research Assistant / Special Adviser in the House of Commons, the Northern Ireland Office, and the Home Office, respectively.
