Is the Future of the Internet the Future of Knowledge?

US-based panel speakers Lawrence M. Sanger, PhD and Andrew Keen will discuss issues of legitimacy, credibility, regulation and censorship on the Internet. Topics addressed will include:
- Are we still able to shape the future of the Internet or will it shape ours?
- What role do truth, trust and expertise play in the creation and dissemination of knowledge and news through the Internet?
- What are the risks of the Internet's 'effect of democratisation'?
- Should we regulate news production by non-professionals on the Internet?
- Wikipedia v. Citizendium v. Encyclopaedia Britannica: who knows best and why?
- What can we expect in the next few years? Best and worst scenarios.
